Low heel drop promotes natural stepping rhythm
The HAL Studios x ASICS Gel-1130 "Birch" is a collaboration by the Australian creative agency and ASICS on a colorway of the retro running shoe. A part of the Australian retailer Highs & Lows, HAL Studios is led by Matthew Thomas and John Bouquet. The designers give the Gel-1130 a minimalist, lifestyle-focused update on the Birch colorway. The upper has a cream-colored open-cell mesh base with tonal suede and black leather overlays. The translucent tabs on the heels read HAL on the left shoe and STUDIOS on the right shoe.
